Edmund Maurer
- Born 1960 in Austria – styria
- 1971-1979: high school
- 1983-1987: education at the horticultural college HBLVA in Vienna-Schönbrunn as garden and landscape designer
- 1988: working for garden 2 companies in Austria
- 1989-1993: Garden department of the municipality of Innsbruck
- 1993 -2000: Garden department of the municipality of Linz
- 2000-2024: Urban planning department of the municipality of Linz
- Since 2002: officially representative of Linz for building greening
- Since 2002: national and international presentations in Europe about green roofs in Linz and its policy
